Hey team.

Rishi Sunak starts the week under pressure.

He appears in front of the Covid inquiry on Monday. His Eat Out to Help Out policy will likely be an area of focus.

The prime minister is also facing unrest from his own MPs.

One of the big issues dividing the Tories is how to handle immigration. The government brings a bill on Tuesday to try to circumvent the Supreme Court's ruling against its Rwanda policy. But some within Sunak's ranks think he isn't going far enough. Will he see a rebellion – and a humiliating defeat?

The Leasehold Bill finally sees the light of day.

Housing Secretary Michael Gove has said he's confident it'll pass before the next election. It's been a long time coming. The white paper it's based on was first published in 2017.

Until next week. In the meantime, feel free to tweet me, or just reply to this email.
